Avis Budget Group in Mickleton, New Jersey is seeking an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs on a fleet of moving vans and box trucks. You will handle oil and fluid services, tires, brakes, suspension, and warranty repairs under limited supervision, helping keep vehicles safe and on the road.

The role requires a valid driver's license, at least two years of professional auto repair experience, and ASE certification with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• Minimum 1 ASE certification with potential to obtain 2 more in the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C).
• Must be able to obtain DOT medical clearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brakes, and suspension work.
• Handle warranty-related repairs as qualified.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• May drive Budget Truck on public roads for testing or support.
