Job summary

Budget Truck is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in New Jersey. You will perform essential maintenance on a fleet of moving vans and box trucks, including oil changes, lubrication, tire work, brakes, and suspension, with supervision as you grow your skills.

You may assist senior technicians and, when needed, drive a Budget Truck for testing or operational support. A valid driver's license, ASE certification, and ability to obtain DOT medical clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 ASE certification. ASE areas include Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and fluid services and lubrication.
• Repair tires, brakes, and suspension.
• Handle warranty-related repairs based on experience.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• May drive Budget Truck on public roads for testing or verification.
