Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager specializing in trucking and transportation. You will maintain and grow client relationships, tailor coverage, and coordinate with carriers to secure optimal terms.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in commercial insurance account management, a P&C license, and strong communication and analytical skills to deliver exceptional service to trucking clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Finance, Insurance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial insurance account management, preferably trucking/transportation.
• Active state Property & Casualty license required; CIC/CISR/CRM desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for trucking/transportation clients and maintain long-term relationships.
• Provide expert insurance advice, process renewals, and ensure coverage aligns with client needs.
• Evaluate client operations to tailor coverage options for trucking/transportation.
• Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and brokers to obtain quotes and bind coverage.
• Conduct policy reviews to keep coverage comprehensive and relevant.
• Handle COI requests, endorsements, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Stay updated on trucking industry regulations and policy changes.
• Document activities in internal systems and maintain client confidentiality.
• Assist in new client acquisition and onboarding presentations.
