Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a designated book of business, drive retention, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring no errors or omissions.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license, have commercial transportation/trucking experience, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• Commercial transportation/trucking experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and any issues to the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and ensure adherence to company policies.
