Job summary

Saia Motor Freight Line LLC is seeking a Tire Mechanic in Fort Worth, TX to install and inspect tires and rims on class 6–8 trucks and trailers. You will remove and mount tires, use hydraulic jacks, inspect inflation, and dispose of old tires according to regulations.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, are authorized to work in the United States, and can read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install tire and rim assemblies on class 6–8 trucks, trailers, and dollies.
• Use hydraulic jacks and stands to access units and replace tire assemblies.
• Operate and move equipment to maintain, inspect, and repair tires/rims.
• Repair tires outside the facility using a service truck.
• Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Dispose of old tires per environmental regulations.
