Job summary

South ern Tire Mart in Texas is seeking a Tire Technician to mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires across passenger and commercial fleets. You will troubleshoot and repair semi-truck systems, assist with stock, and operate on-site with a strong safety focus.

Candidates must be 18+, pass a pre-employment drug screen, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 30–250 lbs. Prior heavy-duty tire experience is preferred; a 401K matching plan is offered.

Qualifications

Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Experience with heavy duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to lift and/or move tires weighing between 30-250 lbs with or without assistance.
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires from passenger to industrial.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair semi-truck and trailer components.
Safe operation of company vehicles and compliance with laws.
Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory.
Work with tire TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System) and related systems.
Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and policies.
