Ohio Peterbilt (a division of Ohio Machinery Co.) in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a diesel/truck technician. You will diagnose failures, perform repairs to dealer and factory standards, and work with the Service Supervisor and Service Writer/Advisor.

Diagnose failures and recommend appropriate repair procedures. Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Receives direction and supervision from the Service Supervisor. Work will be performed primarily on Peterbilt vehicles. Receives job assignments from the Service Writer/Advisor. Interacts with dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives, and customers. Provides mentorship to less-skilled technicians. Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations, such as EPA, OSHA, and DOT. Work in a safe manner always at the shop and on the vehicle. Report any safety issues to management immediately. Keep the shop area neat and clean and ensure that vehicle is kept clean. Report to department management immediately anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
