Love's Travel Stops seeks a hands-on General Manager for our Chanute, KS location to oversee daily operations across fuel, retail, and on-site services, drive revenue growth, ensure customer service excellence, and uphold safety and policy standards in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in retail/travel‑stop management, 3+ years supervising 5–10+ staff, and proven budget and P&L experience with $2M+ annual sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retail, travel stop or similar management.
• 3+ years managing operations with $2M+ annual sales.
• 3+ years handling budgets and P&L statements.
• 3+ years supervising and training 5–10+ employees.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of fuel sales, retail, restaurant and on-site services.
• Grow revenue through strategic promotions and strong customer service.
• Hire, train and supervise staff, including cashiers and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Enforce company policies, health and safety standards, and operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑run facility at all times.
