Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a skilled General Manager to oversee daily operations of a truck stop facility, including fuel, retail, store, and on-site services. You will lead staff, optimize profitability, manage inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, multitasking, and strong problem-solving abilities to sustain service excellence and drive revenue growth across all departments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retail/travel stop or c-store management.
• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• 3+ years budgeting and P&L statements.
• 3+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; may include motor vehicle check/DOT Physical.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of fuel sales, retail, convenience store, restaurant, and other on-site services.
• Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing, promotions, and customer service.
• Hire, train, and supervise employees, including cashiers, maintenance staff, and restaurant personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding fuel, food service, and employment.
• Implement and enforce company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
