Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment, a leading family-owned semi truck dealership, seeks a Service Foreman to oversee the service department. You will supervise mechanics, diagnose truck components, and guide repairs to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations.

You will manage repair orders, coordinate with drivers and owners, and help maintain warranty and parts processes. Minimum four years as a mechanic and at least 2 years in a lead role are required, along with a valid CDL and strong

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Minimum four years as a mechanic and at least 2 years as a shop foreman or lead mechanic.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose all truck components to guide repairs.
• Write up repair orders and communicate with drivers and owners.
• Schedule and assign jobs by skill to maximize efficiency.
• Inspect and advise mechanics as work progresses.
• Track customer jobs and inform on completion time and costs.
• Road/dyno test trucks to verify repairs are complete.
• Keep work areas clean and tools maintained.
• Determine parts to be replaced and ensure availability.
• Document repair codes and warranty eligibility.
• Come in early to review the schedule and work overtime if needed.
• Ensure safe working conditions for all employees.
