Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to join its nationwide Truck Service team. You will write and process work orders and OTC transactions, and help customers with product knowledge and services to keep travelers on the road.

The role requires strong cash handling and communication skills, with the ability to source parts and coordinate deliveries. A valid driver’s license and flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous cashier and customer service experience; repair or parts shop preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Presents self in a professional manner to customers, management, and coworkers.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong suggestive selling skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays in interior and exterior conditions.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process work orders and OTC transactions.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift reports; communicate quotes to customer.
• Maintain the cleanliness of service counters, showroom, and restrooms.
• Maintain the safety of both customers and team members.
