Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking a Truck Service Advisor to provide high-quality customer service, manage work orders and OTC transactions, and coordinate part sourcing and deliveries. The role emphasizes accurate quoting, PO securing, and maintaining safety for customers and staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required; prior cashier or service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in cashier or customer service preferred; repair/parts shop experience a plus.
• Strong ability to influence with integrity in a service setting.

Responsibilities

• Write, detail, and process Work Orders and OTC transactions; prepare ETA Work Orders and communicate quotes.
• Secure Purchase Orders and coordinate delivery from external vendors.
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare end-of-shift drop and shift report; understand various payment types.
• Maintain safety of customers and team members.

As a Truck Service Advisor (TSA), you will provide first-rate service to customers through your extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide. The TSA is primarily responsible for writing work orders, suggestive selling, and handling over-the-counter (OTC) transactions while ensuring that we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

In this role, you can expect to:

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide
• Have strong suggestive selling skills to help generate revenue. Ability to influence in a professional manner while displaying high integrity
• Write, detail, and process (pay out) Work Orders and OTC transactions; Properly write up an ETA Work Order; Secure Purchase Orders, Prepare and communicate quotes to customer
• Source parts from outside vendors and coordinate delivery
• Prepare end of shift drop and shift report; Understand various payment types
• Maintain the safety of both our customers and team members

Typical Physical Demands

In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

While performing these duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will also be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing these duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil, gas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
