Job summary

I State Truck Center in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team. You will field customer relationships, process orders, manage documentation, and support a fast-paced sales cycle from quote to delivery.

Responsibilities include tracking orders, updating internal teams, presenting warranty options, and coordinating with parts, service, and accounting to ensure a smooth customer experience. CDL with Air Brake endorsement required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional business coursework is a plus.
• Experience in sales support, administration, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and business software systems.
• Ability to obtain CDL with Air Brake Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Seek out, build relationships, and secure new vehicle orders.
• Process and manage sales orders using established procedures and checklists.
• Track order status and communicate updates to customers and internal teams.
• Review priorities with management to ensure timely order completion.
• Prepare and present extended warranty options to customers.
• Register and manage extended warranty packages for new truck customers.
• Forecast inventory requirements based on outstanding orders.
• Reconcile physical inventory with system records; assist with counts and audits.
• Support projects including marketing materials, events, and sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, parts, service, accounting, and operations teams.
