Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks, including oil changes, brake checks, suspension repairs, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, clutches, radiators, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics, service staff, and drivers to coordinate repairs, parts orders, and vehicle care education.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry standards.
  • Other duties as needed.

Job Summary

A Truck Repair Technician specializes in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing trucks to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation while minimizing downtime and supporting compliance with applicable safety standards.

Duties
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks, including oil changes, brake checks, suspension repairs, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment
