Qualifications

  • Must stay updated on latest automotive technologies and industry standards.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and work in various positions.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks, including oil changes, brake checks, suspension repairs, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, clutches, radiators, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics, service staff, and drivers to coordinate repairs, parts orders, and vehicle care education.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry standards.
  • Other duties as needed.
