Job summary

GK Grünenfelder AG seeks a skilled Truck or Agricultural Machinery Mechanic to maintain, diagnose and repair refrigerated transport systems and vehicle bodies. You will work in our repair department, serving customers on-site or in the workshop, ensuring high‑quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has vocational training in automotive mechatronics, agricultural machinery or refrigeration systems, extensive hands-on experience, a structured, independent approach, and a strong focus on customer

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in automotive mechatronics, agricultural machinery, refrigeration systems, or a comparable program.
• Extensive practical experience in maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach; strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Service: Professional maintenance, inspection, and repair of refrigerated transport systems from all major brands
• Troubleshooting: Independent diagnosis and resolution of malfunctions in sophisticated transport refrigeration systems
• Installation: Professional installation and commissioning of new systems, including functional tests
• Customer Service: Expert advice and support for customers on-site or in the workshop
• Repairs to vehicle bodies and lifts, and preparing vehicles for the MFK
• Quality Assurance: Compliance with and documentation of applicable quality and safety standards
