Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Garage Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel engines and associated components for trucks and equipment. The role requires inspecting brakes, steering, wheels, and related systems to ensure top performance and safety on the road.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, test-driving vehicles, and repairing or replacing worn parts. Experience with Thermo King/Carrier refrigeration is a plus; safety standards must be followed

Qualifications

• Minimum two years related mechanic experience/and or training required.
• High school diploma or GED; two years or more related experience and/or training.
• Experience with Thermo King or Carrier refrigeration systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul trucks and diesel engines.
• Inspect brakes, steering, wheels and other parts for proper operation.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair and maintain refrigeration systems and components.
