Job summary

Nextran Truck Centers is seeking a Counter Sales professional in West Palm Beach, FL to handle over-the-counter and phone sales of parts with a focus on friendly, efficient customer service. You will pull orders, quote prices, and assist with inventory and external supplier coordination.

The role requires 1 year of parts counter sales experience (or an Associates degree with industry experience), strong communication skills, and proficiency with computer systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in parts counter sales or an Associates degree and 1 year of experience in the industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency; High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provide high level of service to internal and external customers.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Locate out-of-Stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
• Follow up on back ordered parts.
• Replenishes assigned inventory.
• Assists Outside Sales Representatives with their orders.
