Job summary

Michaels Stores in Hadley, MA is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, and maintaining in-stock conditions while following SOPs and company policies.

The role involves helping customers, promoting rewards enrollment, and assisting with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Strong cash handling and checkout skills to standards.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; manage cash handling
• Promote Michaels Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollment
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Stocking, truck unload, and maintaining planograms (POGs)
• Maintain merchandise and recover stock, support store recovery to stay in-stock
• Participate in SISO and AD set duties; support shrink and safety programs
• Follow SOPs and company policies; present a positive image to customers
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
