Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our growing branch. The role focuses on maintenance and repairs of pickup trucks and related shop equipment, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, document all work, and communicate safety issues to customers and on-site staff. A valid Texas CDL is preferred and benefits include health coverage, paid vacation, per diem,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of automotive/trucking/heavy equipment mechanic experience.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Texas Class C Driver's License required; Power Stroke experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on pickup trucks and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and other systems on trucks and equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repairs and file records properly.
• Verbally communicate safety issues to customers and other workers on location before and during tasks.
• Report to Supervisor/Lead Mechanic on completion of assigned task for next assignment.
• Other duties as assigned.
