Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. is seeking a full-time Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair cranes, forklifts, and related equipment at our Norco, LA or St. James, LA branch. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and ensure equipment reliability while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of heavy equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. We offer health benefits, vacation, per diem, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years’ mechanic experience in an automotive, trucking or heavy equipment environment.
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on trucks, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repairs and file records properly.
• Supply your own tools with up-to-date inventory.
• Verbalize safety issues to customers and co-workers on location.
• Work some evenings and weekends at the shop.

The mechanic will perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and other various equipment. Follows all State and Federal laws while operating motor vehicles.
