Job summary

LTR RIGGING & HAULING is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic in Buffalo, NY to diagnose and repair vehicle performance issues. You will perform NYS inspections on heavy‑duty trucks and communicate clearly with customers about issues and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all vehicle systems, hands‑on mechanical experience, and the ability to create accurate repair estimates while delivering top‑notch customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CDL (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Clean driving record and drug test/DOT physical

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles brought into the shop.
• Provide roadside service.
• Carry out routine vehicle maintenance such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements.
• Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes.
• Create repair estimates and timelines.
• Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our busy truck repair and truck towing shop. As a Truck Mechanic, you will assist our customers by diagnosing and repairing issues with vehicles’ performance and function.

As a Truck Mechanic, you must have an in‑depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for NYS Inspections for heavy‑duty trucks.
