Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A drivers for consistent miles and weekly home time. Expect 1,380 to 1,700 USD per week with home weekly, operating area including West Memphis AR and surrounding states.

Responsibilities include completing pre/post trip inspections, delivering freight on time, maintaining logs, and communicating with dispatch. Requirements: valid CDL-A, clean MVR/background, and ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months OTR or Regional experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (urine and hair).

Experience Drivers

Must have a minimum of 3 months O.T.R or Regional experience, no exceptions.

Account

$1380 to $1700 per week.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family, (Operating Area: West Memphis AR delivering to TX, OK, TN, AR, LA, MS, MO, KY, IL, and AL).

driver unloads freight using roller conveyors.

Load

3 loads per week and 3 stops average. (100% touch freight).

Duties

Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
