Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A truck drivers with at least 3 months of OTR or regional experience. Expect weekly home time, delivering to a broad operating area across AR/TX/TN/OK/LA/MS/MO/KY/IL/AL with 5 out, 2 home days and 3 loads per week. 100% touch freight with roller conveyors on unload.

Earn $1,380 to $1,700 per week, with duties including pre/post trip inspections, log accuracy, and clear communication with dispatch. A CDL A, clean MVR, and DOT drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months O.T.R or Regional experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Moving violations: no more than 3 in last 3 years; no major violations.

Home Weekly

5 out and 2 days home with your family (Operating Area: West Memphis AR delivering to TX, OK, TN, AR, LA, MS, MO, KY, IL, and AL).

Load

3 loads per week and 3 stops average. (100% touch freight).

Duties

• Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.
• Maintain accurate logs and trip documentation and Communicate clearly with dispatch and driver managers.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen (Urine and Hair Follicle Test).

Moving Violation

• No more 3 in the last 3 years.
• No Careless/Negligent Driving Violations, in past 3 years.
• No Reckless Driving Violations, in past 5 years.

Accident

• No major preventable accidents in a CMV in the the past 5 years.
• Personal vehicle or company vehicle count.
• No more than 3 preventable accidents in a CMV in the past 3 years.

Terminations

Drivers termed from their last 2 Driving jobs (Class A or B) will not qualify.

Felonies and Misdemeanors

• Class A Felony, Must be 10 years old from the date of arrest/conviction and be reviewed.
• Class B or C, Must be outside 7 years from the conviction date.

DUI/DWI

• No DUI's in a Commercial vehicle ever.
• No more than 2 DUI's in a lifetime.
• No DUI's within the past 5 years.
