Job summary

CHS Inc. in Pierre, SD, is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to haul agronomy products locally. This Monday–Friday daytime role keeps you home each night and offers overtime during peak seasons.

Responsibilities include preparing trucks and railcars, loading/unloading, maintaining safety and inventory, and delivering products safely. A CDL and DOT medical card are preferred; High School diploma or GED is required or preferred; training available.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends.
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred.
• Agriculture background preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
