Job summary

CHS Inc. in Philip, SD is seeking a Truck Driver/Operations Specialist to haul fertilizer to local customers and assist with site operations when driving slows.

The role requires 1+ years in Operations or Trucking Operations, English communication skills, and a valid Class A CDL or able to obtain one. You will prepare trucks, load/unload inputs, maintain inventory, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on the road and at the yard.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading.
• Load and unload agricultural inputs using machinery or equipment.
• Conduct and record repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Deliver products safely and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations including hours of service.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Perform grounds and warehouse maintenance.
• Report safety or customer issues promptly.
• Maintain strong safety culture.
• Perform other assigned duties
