Ryder System, Inc. in Bloomfield, CT is hiring a NON CDL Truck Driver. This local, home-daily route offers weekly pay, paid training, and comprehensive benefits starting after 30 days.

The position features 42 hours per week at $25.75 per hour with potential bonuses and referral rewards. You'll operate 53' reefer trailers in local yard duties with no-touch freight and strong safety standards that support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must have verifiable driving experience in similar equipment.
• 9 months experience in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years.
• Pass Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including Drug/alcohol verification for last 3 years.
• Pass DOT physical.
• Pass Yard Driver Examination.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow written/oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard, but cannot drive on public roads.
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations and ongoing training and customer service.

Requirements
