Ryder System, Inc. in North Aurora, IL is seeking a SOLO Non CDL Yard Truck Driver to join our team. Local home daily routes, 40+ hours weekly, and weekly pay with $21.00 per hour and a small shift premium.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Verifiable driving experience in similar equipment.
• 9 months in past 3 years or 2 years in past 5 years or 5 years in past 10 years.
• Pass Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass Ryder Background & Motor Vehicle check (last 3 years).
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Yard Driver Examination.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret & apply laws, rules, policies, and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and maneuver yard tractor trailers (not for public roads).
• Adhere to safety and DOT regulations with ongoing training and customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Maintain yard inventory and perform other assigned tasks.

As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in delivering and merchandising to ensuring our products are well-presented and available to customers. You will work closely with store managers and other team members to deliver products, maintain displays, stock inventory, and support promotional activities.

Requirements

• 9 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test

• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Yard Driver Examination
