Position Description

Immediate opening for a SOLO Class B CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in Newark, DE.

Pay and Schedule

• Weekly pay: $800 or more
• Hourly rate: $20.00
• Hours per week: 40-45
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasionally Saturday
• Start time: 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM

Route and Equipment

• Deliver solo to: DE, PA, NJ, MD, VA
• Local home daily route
• Truck type: Straight Truck 26'
• Equipment: Electric Pallet Jack
• Trained on all equipment needed
• Freight: Touch – Printed inserts

Truck and Benefits

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and fuel is provided at over 800 facilities nationwide.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old
• Pass Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check
• Pass DOT physical and Ryder road test
• Possess appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A or B experience:
• 9 months in past 3 years, OR
• 2 years in past 5 years, OR
• 5 years in past 10 years

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret regulations

• Assist in loading/unloading freight as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
