Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Goodlettsville, TN with weekly pay and strong benefits. You’ll drive regional routes, stay out 1–3 nights weekly, and have home time every other night. Training is provided and pay includes a $300–$500 quarterly safety bonus, plus a $4,000 loyalty incentive in the first year.

The role emphasizes safety, logs accuracy, and on-site training, with PTO from day one and 401(k) with company match after a year. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a drug test and background check including motor vehicle record.
• DOT physical and road test required.
• Provide Class A CDL and endorsements.
• Experience in tractor-trailer operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight as needed and maintain logs.
• Deliver solo to specified states with regional routing.

$2025 Per Week Average - And Top Earners can make up to $2500.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Safety Bonus:Pays You $300 - $500 Four Times A Year (Every Quarter)
• Loyalty Bonus $4000 paid within the first year.
• Per Diem Pay: $60.00 per night with 1 - 3 nights per Week
• Paid Onsite training
• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
• Start Time: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM Dispatch

• Deliver SOLOTo:OH, TN, KY, WV, IN, IL, AL & GA
• Route: Regional, 1-3 nights out per week depending on how much you want to run. Home Every Other Night

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
