Job summary

Ryder in Lebanon, TN is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver to operate local/regional routes with sleeper, reefer, and inverter-equipped tractors. Expect weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and strong support for a long trucking career.

Paid training is provided, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus ($1,500 at 30 days, $1,500 at 90 days). Start times vary; schedule is Sunday–Friday with specific shift details.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test and background/MVR check including DOT requirements.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay:$0.57 per Mile with 2579 Miles per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $50.00 per night with 2 nights per Week on Tuesday and Wednesday
• Drop and Hook Pay: $10.00 per Drop & $10.00 per Hook
• Solo Stops Pay:$25.00 per Stop with 4 Stops per Week

• Sign on Bonus: Pays you $3000 with $1500 at 30 days, $1500 at 90 days

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
