Job summary

Carter Lumber is hiring a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials across Georgia and nearby states. You will maintain a safe, timely delivery schedule and provide courteous service at loading and delivery sites.

The role is full-time with salary-based pay and bonus opportunities. Forklift loading/unloading is involved, with no touch freight expected most of the time. Growth potential exists within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations across GA and surrounding states.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarp when required.
• No touch freight; materials loaded/unloaded with a forklift.

Description

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations throughout Georgia and surrounding states in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

Requirements
