Job summary

Carter Lumber in Georgia is hiring a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to our locations across Georgia and surrounding states. This full-time driving role offers salary-based pay with opportunities for bonuses, a stable schedule, and a clear path to grow your career within a growing, family-owned company.

You will load and unload using a forklift, provide friendly customer service at loading and delivery sites, and ensure loads are secured (and tarped when required).

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Successfully pass required DOT pre-employment screening.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• As Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist, transport materials to locations throughout Georgia and surrounding states in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites.
• Secure the load and occasionally tarping the product.
• No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.

As one of our Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialists, you will be responsible for transporting materials to our locations throughout Georgia and surrounding states in a safe and timely manner. There are several locations to be serviced throughout the state. This is a full-time driving position, salary based pay with opportunity for bonuses. You will provide friendly and professional customer service at the loading and delivery sites. You are responsible for securing the load and occasionally tarping the product. No touch freight! Material will be loaded and unloaded with a forklift.
