Job summary

NFI is seeking drivers for local routes with daily home time and a home-daily schedule. You will operate dedicated particle board freight with securement using a late-model fleet equipped with safety features, enjoying bonuses and benefits that start on day one.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, at least 6 months of tractor-trailer experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally. NFI values its people and offers a supportive culture.

• Minimum six (6) months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
• Acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.

• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Report issues with equipment or incidents as required.
• Operate route, pick-up & deliveries based on customer requirements.

NFI Driver Expectations And Requirements

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
• Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
