Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Charlotte, NC seeks a Full Time Driver to deliver merchandise to stores and customers. Position requires loading deliveries, and performing daily vehicle inspections to maintain safe operation.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least one year of experience driving heavy-duty trucks or large vans, with a valid state license and DOT medical card.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise to stores and customers.
• Load store deliveries and sold merchandise on trucks.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil, water, tires, etc.).
• Keep vehicle and equipment secure and in good operating condition.

Job Details: Job Location: ARC-CHARLOTTE ARC - Charlotte, NC 28204, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Salary Range: $21.00 - $21.00 Hourly, Job Category: Store, Responsible for being knowledgeable of the geographical area assigned and operates the vehicle within state/federal statutes and/or guidelines. Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public. Deliver merchandise to stores and deliver sold merchandise to customers. Perform special pickups and deliveries, pick up vehicles at the garage, and other similar activities. Clean and secure the vehicle and equipment; conduct daily inspections of the vehicle's oil, water, tires, and other items of the vehicle to maintain good operating condition. Load store deliveries and sold merchandise on trucks in the most organized manner.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required and one year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid State Driver's License
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Valid Commercial Driver's License, desired but not required.
