Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a full-time route driver at ARC-DALLAS ARC Warehouse in Dallas, TX. You will deliver merchandise to stores and customers, load deliveries, and perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation. A valid driver’s license and DOT medical card are required or desired, with CDL preferred but not required.

The position requires reading and speaking English to communicate with the public and maintaining proper vehicle and equipment standards during daily routes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• One year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise to stores and customers.
• Load store deliveries and sold merchandise on trucks.
• Perform daily inspections of the vehicle (oil, water, tires) and keep it in good operating condition.
• Clean and secure the vehicle and equipment.

Job Location: ARC-DALLAS ARC WAREHOUSE - DALL, TX 75235, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly, Job Category: Store, Responsible for being knowledgeable of the geographical area assigned and operates the vehicle within state/federal statutes and/or guidelines. Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public. Deliver merchandise to stores and deliver sold merchandise to customers. Perform special pickups and deliveries, pick up vehicles at the garage, and other similar activities. Clean and secure the vehicle and equipment; conduct daily inspections of the vehicle's oil, water, tires, and other items of the vehicle to maintain good operating condition. Load store deliveries and sold merchandise on trucks in the most organized manner.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required and one year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
