Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Store/Delivery Driver in Tampa, FL to deliver merchandise to stores and customers from ARC-TAMPA Warehouse. The role requires English fluency, a valid driver’s license and a DOT medical card; CDL is desired but not required. This is a full-time daytime position in-store operations.

You will load deliveries, perform pre-trip checks, and ensure cargo is secured and organized. High school diploma or GED preferred, with prior driving experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• One year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver merchandise to stores and to customers.
• Load and secure merchandise on trucks in an organized manner.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil, water, tires, etc.) and keep vehicle in good operating condition.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public.

Job Details: Job Location: ARC-TAMPA ARC WAREHOUSE - Tampa, FL 33613, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: $18.50 Hourly, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Store, Responsible for being knowledgeable of the geographical area assigned and operates the vehicle within state/federal statutes and/or guidelines. Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public. Deliver merchandise to stores and deliver sold merchandise to customers. Perform special pickups and deliveries, pick up vehicles at the garage, and other similar activities. Clean and secure the vehicle and equipment; conduct daily inspections of the vehicle's oil, water, tires, and other items of the vehicle to maintain good operating condition. Load store deliveries and sold merchandise on trucks in the most organized manner.

Qualifications: Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred but not required and one year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid State Driver's License
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Valid Commercial Driver's License, desired but not required.
