Responsibilities

• Verify that correct items are loaded for delivery.
• Perform inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure load is secured.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
• Deliver product and paperwork to customers promptly and courteously.
• Keep the truck clean and report any debris or damage.
• Complete required paperwork at end of shift (logs, receipts, etc.).
• Collect COD money and route to the proper personnel on return to the plant.
• Provide feedback on customer or delivery issues to supervision.

Perform various duties as required.Job DescriptionThyssenkrupp is hiring a Local Truck Driver for Aston, PA. This position requires transporting materials to our Dedicated Customer Accounts.Job Responsibilities:Verify that correct items are loaded for delivery.Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.Assist in loading and unloading of trucks. Ensure truck is properly secured and not overweight.Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up.Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections.Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
