Qualifications

• CDL-A license with verifiable driving experience.
• Minimum 2 years CDL-A driving experience and clean driving record.
• Experience operating a 53' dry van and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED; forklift training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 53-foot-long dry van on a dedicated Grand Rapids route.
• Verify correct items are loaded and perform safety inspections.
• Assist in loading/unloading; ensure cargo is secured and within weight limits.
• Deliver product and paperwork to customers; maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Complete required paperwork at shift end; maintain logs and reports.

Represent ThyssenKrupp Materials, NA in a positive manner by providing customers with quick, precise, helpful, courteous and professional delivery service. Ensure truck is in proper working order. Perform various duties as required.Job DescriptionWe are hiring drivers for our Grand Rapids, MI warehouse. This is a dedicated route run. Drive 53-foot-long hard trailer to deliver products to various thyssenkrupp locations.· Verify that correct items are loaded for delivery.· Perform periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure that load is properly fastened down and is secure.· Assist in loading and unloading of trucks. Ensure truck is properly secured and not overweight.· Deliver product and proper paperwork to our customers in a courteous and timely manner.· Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up.· Maintain trucks overall service and perform required inspections.· Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.
