Job description

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Truck Driver. This position will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a 53' trailer to transport and distribute products between warehouse locations while representing the company in a professional and cost-effective manner that supports operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.This position will be Friday - Monday, 10 hour shifts.

What you will be doing:

• Transport product from ACP warehouse to Ameristar warehouse.
• Transport product from Ameristar manufacturing plant to Ameristar warehouse.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Unload with an overhead crane.
• Operate powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load and unload orders.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Present bills and receipts for goods delivered.
• Turn in receipts received from deliveries.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles, using telephones or mobile two-way radios.
• Flexible to perform other assigned tasks if deliveries are delayed or cancelled.
