Job summary

Jaeckle Distributors in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a CDL A or CDL B delivery driver to support partnership, accuracy, and responsiveness, with home daily schedules.

You will drive to locations across Minneapolis, St. Paul, Rochester, Mankato, Eau Claire, and St. Cloud, and receive training in Madison and in Eagan to get started. This role requires a valid CDL, DOT medical card, ability to lift heavy loads, and a willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class A or B CDL with current DOT registration and medical certificate.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must pass a multi-panel drug screen and maintain drug-free DOT compliance.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past year.
• Ability to operate trucks with either manual or automatic transmission.
• Military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery routes to assigned locations with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in loading/unloading and handling of freight as needed.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance and fueling schedules.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and DOT requirements.
• Keep accurate delivery records and communicate with supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.

Requirements

• Current Class A or B CDL with up-to-date DOT registration and medical certificate / qualifications
• A least 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred but will consider recent graduates or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must pass a multi-panel drug screen and maintain drug free DOT compliance
• No more than (2) moving violations in the past year
• Forklift certification required (trained in house)
• Able to operate trucks with either a manual or automatic transmission
• Military experience a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks which include the lifting and moving of 50 lbs. or more and pulling/pushing product loads weighing from 250 lbs-1000 lbs. with assisted equipment.
• Mobility to frequently bend, lift, stand, and get on and off vehicles multiple times each shift.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and scales.
• Proficient in safe material handling practices, experience handling stone slab products is a plus!
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to prioritize daily workload ensuring work is correct and complete.
• Superior ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent active listening skills to fully understand instructions, ask clarifying questions, and engage in effective problem-solving.
• Ability to perform basic math with high accuracy - add, subtract, multiply, divide.
• Ability to work overtime as needed by the operation
