Job summary

J&B Group in Saint Michael, MN is seeking CDL drivers to run local and regional routes starting from St. Michael. You will deliver product safely within customer timeframes, establish a clear DOT paper trail, and maintain a friendly relationship with customers while completing required DOT paperwork.

Class A starts at $28.00 per hour and Class B at $25.00 per hour, with pay based on experience. Routes cover MN, ND, SD, IA and WI with flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Class A or B for routes
• DOT medical certification required
• Willingness to work variable hours and overtime

Compensation

• CLASS A: Starting hourly rate for this position is: $28.00 per hour
• CLASS B: Starting hourly rate for this position is: $25.00 per hour
• Pay is based on job-related experience

Schedule

• Flexible route options available
  • CLASS A: 4-10 hour days
  • CLASS B: 5-8 hour days

Location

• Routes leave out of St. Michael, MN and cover local metro locations, out state Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and/or Wisconsin.

Essential Functions

• Deliver product in a safe and professional manner within a timeframe designated by customer demands.
• Establish paper trail for each delivery and complete all appropriate D.O.T. and related paperwork. Maintain a friendly relationship with customers without spending an inappropriate amount of time.
• Keep vehicles clean.
• Communicate with our mechanics on any problems experienced with vehicles.
• Physically complete all DOT required vehicle inspections and paperwork in order to stay in compliance with all DOT regulations.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Commercial Drivers License - routes available for both Class A and Class B
• Requires DOT Medical Certification.
• Must be willing to work variable hours and days including overtime.

Physical And Environmental Factors

• Requires ability to lift 60 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 150 lbs.
• Requires ability to control a two wheeler down a ramp on a trailer.
• A lift assessment, DOT physical, and drug screen are required of all truck drivers.
• Subject to outside weather conditions.
