Job summary

Monroe Tractor is seeking a Truck Driver to safely operate dealership vehicles and transport equipment between locations. The role requires CDL-A license and at least 1 year of semi-trailer truck experience, with preferred experience moving large agricultural equipment.

You will support the sales team with on-time delivery, maintain delivery records and signatures, load/unload, secure loads with chains and binders, and keep certifications current in line with DOT and OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as semi-trailer truck operator.
• 1+ years' experience transporting large agricultural equipment preferred.
• CDL- A license.
• Low Boy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities
• Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
• Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
• Load and unload equipment; must tie down loads securing equipment with chains, binders, and traps
• Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy
• Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties
• May need to maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition
• May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required
• Assist in keeping the location lot organized and professional-looking
• Perform annual DOT inspections on all vehicles and trailers for the location
• Conduct business according to company values
• Any other duties as assigned
