Job summary

AgState is seeking a Truck Driver to support our Grain and Agronomy operations in Albert City, IA. You will transport grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients to customers and company locations, and perform daily vehicle inspections and record-keeping.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Class A CDL with endorsements, is at least 21, and can pass DOT medical requirements and screenings. You will lift up to 50 pounds and contribute to a safe, professional team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 2 years of experience and required endorsements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing substance abuse screenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Agricultural experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients to customers and company locations.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with the transportation team.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, professional equipment reflecting AgState's commitment to excellence.
• Provide outstanding customer service to producers and fellow team members.
• Support additional locations and operations as needed.
• Contribute to a safe and positive team environment.
• Maintain safe operation of truck by adhering to AgState’s values and roadway laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
