Job summary

AgState is seeking a Truck Driver to support Grain and Agronomy operations in our Iowa trade area. You will transport grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients, perform daily inspections, and coordinate maintenance with the transportation team.

This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork, with opportunities for training, advancement, and a strong safety culture. Home nightly and year-round employment are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 2 years of experience and required endorsements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing substance abuse screenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Agricultural experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients to customers and company locations.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate maintenance needs with the transportation team.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, professional equipment that reflects AgState’s commitment to excellence.
• Provide outstanding customer service to producers and fellow team members.
• Support additional locations and operations as needed.
• Contribute to a safe and positive team environment.
• Maintain safe operation of truck by abiding by AgState’s values and roadway laws.
