Job summary

AgState is hiring a Truck Driver in Albert City, IA. This full-time role focuses on safely transporting grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients within the territory and performing routine vehicle inspections.

You’ll join a team that values safety, integrity and excellence, with nightly home time and opportunities for growth. A CDL, age 21+, and DOT compliance are required, with training available for additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with 2 years of experience and required endorsements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Ability to meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing substance abuse screenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Agricultural experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport grain, fertilizer, and feed ingredients to customers and company locations
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate maintenance needs with the transportation team
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently
• Maintain clean, professional equipment that reflects AgState's commitment to excellence
• Provide outstanding customer service to producers and fellow team members
• Support additional locations and operations as needed
• Contribute to a safe and positive team environment
• Maintain safe operation of truck by abiding by AgState’s values and roadway laws
• Other duties as assigned
