We are seeking a motivated individual who will be responsible, under the direction of the Transportation Manager, for grain deliveries within AgState. You will join a team committed to safety, excellent customer service, and a stable career.

Essential Duties

• Drive trucks to deliver grain, fertilizer, or feed ingredients to end users and within the company as transfers.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the truck and daily pre‑trip inspections.
• Schedule all maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload the truck.
• Keep the vehicle always clean in accordance with AgState’s image.
• Always utilize good customer service skills when servicing and greeting customers, and when working with co‑workers and other departments within the company.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with AgState’s Safety Policy.
• Assist with other locations, as needed.
• Must be a team player.

Physical Demands

• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs from the floor to a height of 48 inches.
• Requires a high degree of attention and dexterity.
• May be required to wear respirator.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Have a desire to obtain further licensing for agronomy needs.
• Will train.
