Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a friendly truck care cashier to join our fast-paced lobby team. You will greet customers, ring up purchases, and help identify services with the service specialists.

This role emphasizes accuracy, cash handling, and teamwork in a busy travel-stop environment. We train you on our POS system and offer benefits including tuition assistance, PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage after 30 days, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices.
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders.
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
