J.B. Hunt is seeking a Body Technician in Bethlehem, PA for full-time body repairs on tractors and equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, rebuilding, and painting with emphasis on fiberglass and cosmetic repairs, and may require outdoor work, weekend shifts, and overtime.

The position supports preventative maintenance, component replacement, and complex repairs per specifications, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for a limited time.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with 1–2 years of body repair or semi-tractor maintenance experience.
• Willing to work outdoors, or across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.
• A/C certification and DOT/FHWA inspections experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged equipment and create cost estimates for repairs.
• Rebuild and paint wrecked trucks, hoods, and body parts (fiberglass focus).
• Perform maintenance per manufacturer specs; follow SRT and warranty guidelines.
• Troubleshoot tractor issues and work independently when needed.
• Operate wrecker to move trucks into the shop for repair.
• Maintain safety procedures and communicate with JB Hunt staff and customers.
