Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support light and heavy commercial projects in North America. The role focuses on maintenance, repair and service of commercial HVACR equipment, with factory certification pathways and safety as a core priority.

Qualified candidates should have minimum HVAC troubleshooting experience and hold EPA refrigerants license, with travel up to 20%. The position offers a union-aligned pay range and benefits through a local labor agreement.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.
• Minimum of three (3) years commercial/industrial mechanical troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry (Rooftop units, pumps, fans, towers, boilers, chillers, compressors).
• Mechanical shaft alignment using dial indicators, etc. of pumps, fans, compressors.
• Able to use vibration equipment to troubleshoot drivelines.
• Travel may be required 10% to 20% to support Branch Customers activities, trouble shooting, installation and repair.
• EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Provide quotes to customers and participate in JCI's Service Plus Rewards program.
• Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
• Act as trusted advisor to customers, delivering solutions at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service.
